Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This page explains what cookies are, which ones CalcKits uses, why, and how you can manage them. For data overall, see our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. They help remember settings and understand use. Some are set by us, others by third parties such as analytics or ads providers. Some tools use local storage in a similar way.

Cookies We Use

Necessary

These keep the site working, for example your consent choice, form handling, and security. The site may not work without them. You can block them in your browser, but some features may stop working.

Preference

These remember choices such as your unit or a dismissed notice, so your next visit is easier.

Analytics

If analytics is used, it gives aggregated information such as pages visited and how long people stay. We use it to improve the site and fix problems. It does not identify you by name. We may use a privacy-friendly tool or Google Analytics.

Advertising

We do not currently show ads. In the future we may show Google AdSense. Then advertising cookies may be used to show ads, limit how often you see them, and measure performance. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits. We will update this policy before advertising cookies are enabled.

How to Manage Cookies

You can manage cookies in your browser settings: view, block, or delete them, set rules for specific sites, and clear them at any time. If a consent notice is shown, you can accept or decline optional cookies there. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies or changing your settings. That applies to future visits. Blocking optional cookies will not stop the calculators. Blocking necessary cookies may affect parts of the site.

Browser Controls

Open your browser settings or help and search for cookies. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and Brave each have their own steps. Private or incognito mode limits cookies for that session.

Changes

We may update this policy when we add or change cookie use, for example analytics or ads. The last updated line at the top shows when.
