About CalcKits

CalcKits is a small site with a simple job: help you work out a number and understand what it means. Free calculators for money, health, maths, and everyday life. Each tool gives you a clear answer, the formula behind it, and the assumptions it rests on.

Who runs CalcKits

A small team of writers and editors. The content is written by Lucas Meyer, who covers finance and maths, and Sofia Andersen, who covers health and everyday tools. CalcKits is not a bank, a clinic, or a law firm, and it sells no financial products.

Our mission

Many calculators hide the maths. We show the formula, the steps, and the rounding, so you can check the answer yourself instead of taking it on trust.

What we do

  • Free calculators, no sign-up.
  • Plain guides with worked examples.
  • Simple tools that give you the answer and show how it was worked out.

What we do not do

  • No financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • No personal or account details needed.
  • No estimates presented as exact promises. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.

How we check accuracy

  • Formulas checked against multiple trusted references.
  • Every worked example checked by hand against the tool.
  • A second person re-checks before anything is published.
  • Rounding stated on the page.
  • Corrections noted when something is fixed.
